Dry Ice

 My mom had some extra dry ice from an experiment that she did with her class. So she brought it home and I wanted to do some experiments at home. So my mom and I did some experiments with the dry ice.

 My mom brought out this cup and filled it with water and one piece of dry ice. Then a ton of bubbles came out and it was cool. I used these tongs to pick up the bubbles.

 Here I was lighting up a match.

I kept burning myself in the process of lighting the candle, but I am fine.

The Dogs

Current Lily. Lilly is fine even though she isn't as energized as she used to be. She still licks people's faces. She also likes to roll around in the dirt and she gets stuff stuck in her fur.

This Is Current Star. He is also doing ok, in the last 2 months Star has learned how to use the dog door. He is still a big baby, and he will always be.

The first week of school

My first week of school was kind of boring.  We really didn't do much.  My teacher's name is Miss Matthews and I don't like her because she gave me homework on the first day.  We have PE on Tuesday and Friday.  We have band or music on Tuesday.  I am going to do band because I did it last year.  I am going to play the trumpet.  Some things we are going to learn about this year in Social Studies, we are going to stop at the fall of Rome and start at the Ice Age.  In Science we are going to switch classes and I'm not exactly sure what we are going to learn about.  My teacher isn't going to teach science, which mom is really upset about because she is a science teacher and she loves science.

The school lunches are bad.  On Friday they didn't have the peanut butter sandwiches that they said they would have, but instead they had bologna sandwiches.  At first I took off the cheese because I don't like cheese and then I took a few bites and I tried it with the cheese.  I didn't really taste a difference.  And I finished eating the cheese.  This year I am going to take lunches from home some days.  Every single Monday and it alternates every single week between Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday because there isn't any food that I like, but I probably could eat them.  My mom got me the grape jelly Uncrustables.

I'm glad it's the weekend and that was the first week of school and my teacher is going to go into teacher mode and bore everybody to death!

6th grade

Last night I tried to go to sleep early but ended up going to bed at 12:09.  I have 3 dogs, 2 sisters and 1 brother.  Most of the time the dogs sleep on my bed and steal my blankets from me.  I have 2 toy poodles named Harper and Lily.  The other dog is a cute Chihuahua named Star  My favorite color is green.  My favorite animals are penguins.  Two of my siblings are in college, my brother and 1 of my sisters.  My other sister, Ariel, is an English teacher in high school.

I love math and science!  I dislike social studies and I HATE writing (I'm surprised I've written this much).  I have a blog and my mom makes me write at least 3 sentences.  I have taken horseback and swim lessons.

Both my mom and dad are teachers at Vanden.  My mom is a science teacher and my dad is a social studies teacher.  I like doing experiments in science, especially fun experiments.

I like playing video games and watching YouTube videos.  My favorite video game is Terraria.  I play it on my brother's computer.  I play it on his computer because my computer is not working.  I am happy he is leaving the computer at home.  He also needs to give me the laptop he won from a college scholarship. I'm surprised I wrote this in 48 minutes.  It used to take an hour to write half of this.  (My hand hurts so much.)

horseback riding lessons

I have horseback riding lessons now they go from 9:00 to 12:00. 3 hours long. It was really fun, but hot at the same time.

I got to learn how to catch, groom, and ride a horse. There were two other girls that were also there, they were 9 and 12. This horses name is Buddy.

This horse's name is Lucky. We went to the arena to ride Lucky around. It was pretty good feeling to ride a horse.

Snake Skin

This is when grandpa was watering the plant outside. He really likes plants like twice mom and grandpa went out to get plants. Its pretty crazy he has like 30 thousand.

Mom and grandpa found a snake skin in the backyard while they were watering plants. I was in the room and mom knocked on the window and showed me.

Horseback riding lessons

This horse had so many flies on it it had like 20000. It was cute. The thing on its face was probably to keep the flies out of its eyes.

See you Monday horses. For 3 hours for 5 days. It cost mom like $200.
